LEE MOUNT PRIMARY SCHOOL

D&D Roofing undertook a project to fix and restore the roof of a primary school ready for the new term in September.

The size of the roof was 180m2.

Specification:

• Strip back the roof to the joists
• Install Firring Strips to Create Sufficient Falls
• 18mm Plywood Deck
• Self-Adhesive VCL
• 120mm PIR Insulation
• Protan SE Membrane (Mechanically Fixed)
• New Fascia and Guttering

Within the current building regulations, we were able to fully restore the roof, bringing it to life. We transformed a tired, leaking roof into a fully functioning long lasting, durable roof. We tested the roof with a electronic leak detection system, it passed with flying colours and was signed off by technical services at Protan. Once signed off, the work comes with a 20-year warranty.
